Profession: Spirit of Destiny given flesh
Pronouns: She/Her. Sometimes she becoems a he/him when he wants to
Canon: Original character

Backstory: Ninia started with nothing. If she had been born in the mortal world, she would have been born in a slum. Instead she coalesced in the spirit realm out of low grade energy (spirits don't really do families the way we understand them.). Most spirits like her tend to fade away without accomplishing much, but Ninia did have one thing going for her: ambition. She had a burning desire to "make it big", even if she wasn't sure what that meant yet. So she worked, and she searched, and she found a way out of her humble origins: She would become a succubus and tempt mortals to trade away their vital essence for incredible sex.
That meant she had to design a body that could pilot the physical realm, which was a lot of work, but she did it. And then she spent the next forty years fucking her way across the world, building up power bit by bit, until she finally had enough to gain the attention of more important spirits. Specifically, the Keepers. The Keepers were an organization of both spirits and mortals that focused on containing especially powerful relics until they were needed for whatever they were intended for. Ninia put her days as a demonic temptress behind her and managed to talk them into taking her on as an intern.
She spent another decade working at that, but found it frustrating. It wasn't nearly as long as she'd spent as a succubus, but at least with that she'd felt a sense of progress. The Keepers were traditionalists from top to bottom, and there wasn't much to DO most of the time other than handle the Keeper Sage's dry cleaning and fetch him coffee sometimes. The Keeper Sage was, in theory, a very powerful and prestigious person to be working for, but he spent most of his time taking month long showers or complaining with other spirits about how things used to be better in the Old Days.
So when Ninia was going on some errand or another in the Keepr Vaults and she noticed that the Sword of Heroes had popped out of its case and landed on the floor, her thought process went like this:
1: I am SO fucking bored of this job. What am I doing with my life!? I'm 350! Fuck!
2: But everyone knows that the Sword of Heroes only unseals itself from it's case when the world is in peril and it is needed. That means that somewhere out there is a hero without his sword
3: If I delivered the sword of heroes to the hero before the forces of evil had time to build up steam, the Keepers would HAVE to recognize that I deserve to be promoted!
4: They'll go "We're so impressed with you for saving the world that instead of punishing you forstealing BORROWING our most sacred relic, we're going to make you head of your own department where you'll have a staff of sexy Keeper librarians who will do whatever you want them to!"
5: Yeah! There's no way this can go wrong!
That's how Ninia ended up a few months later with the Sword of Heroes belted to her waist, living in constant anxiety about how she STILL hasn't found the Hero of Destiny and ANY DAY NOW the Keepers are going to catch up with her and demand to know what the HELL she thinks she's doing.
But destiny works in funny ways. It doesn't actually need the Keepers to help it along. The Sword of Heroes is exactly where it needs to be: With the Hero of Destiny. Even if she doesn't realize that it's her.
TL;DR: Spirit of Destiny steals the Sword of Heroes and tries to deliver it to the Hero of Destiny, not realizing that the hero of destiny is actually herself.

First Impressions
- Appearance: Standing at 5'5, Ninia is a sexy, curvy, blond bombshell. She designed her physical form to be as attractive as possible, since it was intended for seduction. The current version has been "tuned down" a bit to look a little more plain, since she found that her succubus body had a bit of trouble having actual conversations because people kept on staring at her tits and drooling. Tends to dress as like a cross between a sexy librarian and a travelling adventurer.
- Vibes: Ninia plays the role of a prim and proper and slightly mysterious young lady because she feels like if she does then people are more likely to take her seriously. But underneath that layer of politeness is a violent temper and a sexual dynamo. She tries to act with dignity, but her inner self often lashes out, leading to explosive temper tantrums or salacious flirting. But there's another layer under THAT, and that is of a soul that just wants to be a good guy and save the day. Ninia may appear distant and unemotional at first glance, or she might endlessly tease you with double entendres and flirting, but when the chips or down she wants everything to end up okay.
- Interests: Social climbing, intensely physical experiences (sex, good food, etc), helping people
- Sensitive topics: She hates the evil and cruel hearted with her whole dang heart

Powers
- Spirit Being: Ninia's true body exists in the spirit world, a realm of pure energy where beings of thought live in a world completely divorced from the physicality of our world. She worked long and hard at designing a body that could pass for human so that she could pilot it through our world from hers, allowing her to experience the material realm. As such, it's difficult to actually harm her meaningfully. Even if you "Kill" her body, she'll just wake back up in the spirit realm with a headache and have to spend a few days making a new body. There are ways to harm her spirit body directly, but they are few and far between.
- Increased Physical Attributes: Ninia's physical body is mostly human, but it's ultimately a construct powered directly by magic. As such, she can spend her own power to fuel her body and push it beyond what should be possible for a human. She can be faster, stronger, and tougher than any human has any right to be, though only in short bursts.
- Teleportation: Ninia can reclaim most of the energy she spent building her body and use it to build a new one somewhere else, creating a teleportation effect. Her old body disappears into dust when she does this, leaving anything she was carrying or wearing in a heap on the ground. The new body appears a few seconds later, buck naked, or a few minutes later, dressed. Range is functionally unlimited, but the further she goes the more time she has to spend in the spirit world searching for her destination. It's sort of like scrolling around google maps without being able to zoom out very far.
- Destiny Sense: Some people are destined to be major historical figures and to change the world. Heroes, villains, leaders, and so forth. Keeper spirits, like Ninia, have been trained to feel this weight they have on the future. Ninia can usually tell if someone is meant to have some great effect on the world. She can't tell what KIND of effect it will be, and sometimes she gets it wrong, but it's reasonably accurate. Keepers use this power to seek out people who need the various relics hidden in their mountain fortress temple.
- Sword of Heroes: The legendary sword is in a magic scabbard that hides it's true nature. If ever she drew it, it would feel like a magical bonfire to any magic users within a hundred miles, and would project an aura of supernatural good that emboldens the heroic and fills the wicked with fear. As she doesn't want to be found, Ninia usually keeps the sword and scabbard tied together with rope. Fortunately for her, the OTHER feature of the Sword of Heroes is that it is indestructible. It can't be bent or broken and never needs to be sharpened (in fact, it can't be sharpened.). Even sheathed, it makes a mighty fine blunt instrument. It glows when wielded by the Hero against the forces of evil. Ninia isn't much of a sword fighter. Her main strategy is to just flail it wildly at anything she doesn't like. She's more likely to use it as a crowbar than a weapon (which feels sacriligious but like...she's not going to damage it. It's indestructible!)

- Shipping: Ninia is pansexual, but her heart is mercurial. She might fall in love with you for a little while, but don't expect her to stick around for long. She falls in love easily, and gets bored of love easily.
- Smut: Absolutely. Ninia is USUALLY horny and down for anything.
- Violence: Ninia has an ability to bounce back from harm that borders on Looney Toons. Do your worst, but just know that it will probably end up being slightly silly.
- Fourth Wall: Please do not
- OOC sensitive topics: I don't personally have any major triggers but it would be cool of you if you could mention in the subject line if you bring up common sensitive topics in case someone else is reading our thread.
- Anything else: The main inspirations for Ninia, as a character, is the true monster race from Slayers. Imagine, if you will, if Xellos was a frustrated civil servant instead of a cryptic asshole. "Ninia" is derived from Ninianne, one of the names attributed to the Lady of the Lake in Arthurian myth. The main purpose for Ninia existing is so that she can have slightly silly and very sexy misadventures.
